Last month at our annual tequileras/os christmas gathering we were talking about the club events we have each year, the anniversary party usually held in august and the christmas gathering in december. So from december to august we have nothing as a club, so we were thinking that we should have something in april, like a picnic at a park. We can have a carne asada or something, and make it family oriented since there are several tequileras/os that have kids. Maybe we can even have some games and prizes. This would be in the LA area of course and we would plan it out with time so that those that live farther can plan to come if they wish. So who would be down for a spring picnic?

Hola mis amigas.....awwwwwwww it's soo nice to finally get in contact with u all..........I love the plans for the Picnic thing, since for Christmas i'm always unable to make it....i'd be more than happy to attend, i'm planning to go to Chicago for pring Break so in case it's not around that time, i'll be more than glad to be there!!!

Well this tequilera is down! No mas digan cuando por k this year i have lots of traveling. Okay, I think it's about time to set a date for this picnic.

Here are a couple of possible dates for our picnic:

saturday the 14th
sunday the 15th
saturday the 21st
sunday the 22nd
saturday the 28th
sunday the 29th

(for those wondering, Easter falls on the 8th this year)

So how do these dates sound? would a saturday or sunday be better for you, or does it not matter?

Right now we are considering Whittier Narrows in El Monte, but if any of you have any suggestions for a park please leave them here.

I was thinking that maybe we can do it both ways, those that want to pitch in with money can pitch in on the meat, and well those that have the time and opportunity to make something or buy food can pitch in with some rice, beans, tortillas, some sort of salad, sodas, chips, salsa, etc.
