Spring Picnic Date...

Okay... here's the deal. Since only one person gave a date, I narrowed it down to the following dates in April:

saturday the 21st
sunday the 22nd
saturday the 28th
sunday the 29th

(for those wondering, Easter falls on the 8th this year)

Now all we have to do is vote:

I vote for the 28th

Right now we are considering Whittier Narrows in El Monte, but if any of you have any suggestions for a park please leave them here.

I like the part that Dayana suggested, mainly because it's closer than Whittier Narrows to me. I like the fact that it sounds like a large park, 100 picnic tables and 8 large barbecue pits and 60 small ones throughout the park. Dayana, have you been there recently?

Okay, I talked to Greg today and he said that the 28th at Kenneth Hahn is fine. Since nobody has had any problems with the 28th and everyone so far has voted for that day (or weekend) then it's set, saturday, April 28th at Kenneth Hahn Park in Los Angeles. For the time, how does 11am sound? too early or too late?

I'll be sending out an email to everyone and I'll open up a topic today or monday so everyone can start signing up to bring something for the picnic or to chip in with money for the meat.
