This year our club turned 5 years old, so we have something big to celebrate.
Tradition WAS that our anniversary party was the first weekend in the month of August.

The first two years we had the party on the first weekend in August, the first one was in North Hills and the second one in Santa Ana.

The third one was moved to the month of September (it was in Pico Rivera) because Jenni's concert at the Gibson was on the first saturday of August.

The forth one was moved to the second saturday in August (in Orange) since Jenni's concert was on a friday and we had people that came from out of town that wanted to attend both the concert and the party.

This year Jenni's concert is on a saturday, the 16th of August. From what I've noticed we have people coming from out of town again. So how would sunday, the day after the concert sound? or any suggestions on other days we can have the gathering?

OK WELL I AM UP TO ANYTHING JUST LET ME KNOW...I JUST HAVE A QUESTION...ARE WE PLANNING TO DO SOMETHING BIG LIKE A PARTY OR JUST A GATHER UP? I THINK THAT IF PEOPLE ARE COMIMG DOWN FROM OUT OF TOWN, MORE LIKELY THEY WILL COME ON FRIDAY...


IF THEY DO NOT HAVE NOWHERE TO STAY, I VOLUNTEER MY HOUSE....LAST YEAR I WAS NOT ABLE TO DO THIS BECAUSE LIKE MANY OF YOU KNOW I HAD JUST MOVED IN PLUS MY FATHER WAS VERY ILL. THIS YEAR, ANY TEQUI IS WELCOMED!!! I DO NOT PROMISSE BEDS BUT I DO PROMISSE A WARMIMG WELCOME!!! LOLTHIS WAY THEY WILL SAVE UP FOR THE HOTEL...


OK WELL CONSIDERING THIS, I THINK IF IT'S POSSIBLE WITH THE REST IT WOULD BE BETTER ON FRIDAY BECAUSE ON MONDAY, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE TO WORK...IN ADDITION, I KNOW THAT THE CONCERT IS THE NEXT DAY BUT IT IS LATE SO WE HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO REST. IT IS MORE LIKELY THAT THEY WILL GO TO THE CONCERT THE NEXT DAY RATHER THAN MISS WORK...LOL---AGAIN, ANYTHING WILL WORK FOR ME.


IN TERMS OF MAKING THE GATHER UP IN MY HOUSE IT REALLY DEPENDS ON WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO BECAUSE MY NEIGHBORS ARE A LIL DELICATE....I MEAN INSIDE MY HOUSE I CAN DO AS MUCH NOISE AS I WANT BUT OUTSIDE, THEY DO STOP THE PARTIES EARLY.crycrycrycry---JUANITA DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING IN MIND?

Well for the anniversary we have always had a party, but I would much rather prefer a gathering. What I was thinking is that maybe we can have it on a sunday, the day after the concert, but during the day so we can finish up early for those that have to drive back home to go to work or school on monday. We can also make it at a park like we did for the spring picnic. I think a picnic like the one we had last year would be fun.

Well there's no suggestions so how about we do it here where I live, in Redondo Beach. We can do it at a park where my mom threw me my baby shower last year. It's near the 405 freeway, south of the 105. What do you guys think?

That time would be no problem for me but I had suggested something later considering that the concert is the night before. It's up to the majority though, would 11am be fine?

divaconsentida, all tequileras and tequileros are welcomed, it doesn't matter if your new, as long as your in the club your invited.

I'm just waiting to see if there are any more comments on the place and time before I make it official. Once that's done I'll open a new topic here and send out emails so we can do the RSVP list and the list of who's taking what to the picnic.

So is 11am okay with everyone?
