Jenni Rivera got a little buzzed at the Universal Music party, hanging out with her friends from Patrulla 81.
She enjoyed herself that night but before going in to the festivities she took a momento to talk about Mexican music. She feels that pop and other styles are always given more airtime and importance than Mexican Regional music.
She said:
If I could give my two cents, I think that the Mexican Regional genre is always pushed to the side. Its a music genre that sells a lot and we always participate at these events. We never let them down. Of course, thats just my humble opinion because there were many things that I thought were great, but you have to stand up for whats yours.
